While the moon hung overhead Duo and Xi Huan alternated swings at a beam of metal that would become Duo’s sword. Each hit made a bright ember leap up, the ring of the metal echoing through the forge. The cloth wrapped around his head had been absorbing sweat all day, the cool night air he’d been hoping to help useless in the face of the massive fire.

Forging A New Path

The sun rose and birds sat on their tree perches, singing their morning songs to the world.
For Duo and Misaki the night had been a bit tasking, earning a good sleep. They had fallen asleep next to each other and stayed that way through the night, though their positions had changed slightly.

Chapter Ten
The Tale of Duo Xun

There was a cool breeze blowing through the open fields surrounding Susamura’s home. The trio had gone to the waterfall after breakfast on Susamura’s recommendation. Susamura sat with Misaki on a pair of large stones looking over the waterfall lake, which looked equally as beautiful in the day.
Duo, on the other hand, was standing directly under the waterfall with a heavy steel rod in his hands, swinging it overhead. He looked miserable as he swung the rod, throwing water nearly three meters.

It's been a while since I checked up here. The other day, when I finally went through my messages and stuff, I realized I had 1,700+ pics to look through. Thankfully, it was a quick process.

So, what have I been up to? Hm. The usual mostly.

And yeah, I am reading Eclipse. I blame fate, for placing the book in my lap, thanks to a pair of girls who moved out leaving it behind. After reading the first book, I've gone through the second and third so far, and soon will be on the fourth, which is the one I'm the most curious about, though I was pleased to finally see some action in the third.

Oh well. If I feel up to it when I'm done, maybe I'll post a rant. Then again, maybe I won't. Who knows.
